The caption of this art is “DO YOU BELIEVE IT?”. Here Pigeon represents both the symbol of peace and the nations. The human being in this earth is equally good and bad by nature. They all have ego, grievance, anger, jealous, greed, egocentricity, violence & hate feelings as well as love, kindness, generosity & peace in their nature. Our evil acts always overpower our good acts which never allow us to live with peace, co-existence and embrace our differences. In a society a group of persons associated together for religious, cultural, scientific, political and other social purposes. In a country different religious, cultural and political peoples live together and if they keep away all the evil deeds and plans aside and embrace all of our differences we don’t need any borders and war. In my work all the pigeons represent different nations and peace as well as the face represents the devil. The sky is clear and stars are shining brightly. If the nations leave their ego, jealousy, anger, greed, violence and locked their evil thoughts and acts and embrace each other, live happily with peace and coexistence. In the painting the devil who is too frustrated and he is watching all the nations embraces each other. The devil represents all negative force. The art represent the message that we are the bridge at heart to heart & we have a dream for everyone to share. We can fight together against poverty, corruption, terrorism, discrimination and fight against all evil. All our future is bright & fresh which will now start by me and you and very soon all our dream will come into reality. Do you believe it?

Sally Chee Hung (Hong Kong), "To You with Love", 23 x 17 cms.

May I add that Cosmos has been considered as the flower of love. And I believe that love is the main attribute of peace. So in my watercolour piece, I want to say that by offering love to every "you", we can join together to achieve universal peace.

Zhu Yuanyan (China), "Mother, I'm waiting for you here", 18.5 x 27.5 cms.

The picture tells us a story of a mother spending twenty years earning money for the journey to see her son's gravestone. The son was born in April, 1963. He was a soldier named Zhao Zhanying, who sacrificed during the self-defensive war against Vietnam's invasion. He was only 21 years old when he died on April 28th, 1984. The mother was too poor to have money to make a journey to say goodbye with her son face to face. After hearing the story, the local government gave financial assistance to the mother. Waiting for 20 years, the mother finally came to see her son on the Tomb-sweeping festival in 2004.

Zhu Yuanyan (China), "Refugee", 25.5 x 18.5 cms.

The picture tells us a story of refugees who are eager to escape from the civil war of Syria. The civil War of Syria happened on January 26th, 2011. The anti-government protests campaign lasts for nearly 7 weeks and finally turned into armed conflict. The civilian people were suffering greatly from the civil war. They just want to get a refuge to end the dilemma.
